Privacy Policy
Last updated: 25 October 2026
ChamilaDigital (“we”, “us”, “our”) provides Meta Ads management for businesses in Sri Lanka. ChamilaDigital is a brand of Websprobe (Pvt) Ltd, Sri Lanka. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use and protect information when you use our website (chamiladigital.com) and our client services, including our work on Meta platforms (Facebook, Instagram and WhatsApp Business).
1. Information We Collect
- Free audit form. When you request a free ad audit, we collect your name, WhatsApp number, business name or Facebook Page link, type of business and monthly ad budget. The form is processed by Formspree, a form service that receives your submission and forwards it to us by email.
- WhatsApp messages. Buttons on our website open WhatsApp with a ready-written message. Nothing is sent until you press send. When you message our WhatsApp number, we receive and store your messages in order to respond to you and provide our services. WhatsApp is operated by Meta under its own privacy policy.
- Contact information you give us — such as your name, business name, email address and phone or WhatsApp number — when you contact us, request a proposal or become a client.
- Business and advertising data that clients authorize us to access through Meta’s platform tools (such as the Meta Marketing API), such as ad account performance metrics, campaign data and Page insights.
- Client conversation data. Where a client explicitly authorizes it, we receive and store messages exchanged between that client’s own WhatsApp Business number and that client’s customers. This includes the message text, the sender’s WhatsApp number, the timestamp and whether media was attached. We collect this data for one purpose only: to measure conversation outcomes for that client — response times, unanswered enquiries and whether an enquiry became an order — and to report those measurements back to the client alongside their advertising performance.
- Website usage data. When enabled, our website uses Google Tag Manager and the Meta Pixel. These tools use cookies and similar technology to record pages visited, clicks on WhatsApp buttons, free audit requests (not the details you type into the form) and general device and browser information. When they are not enabled, our website does not load them. Our website host also keeps standard technical logs (such as IP address and browser type) for security and reliability.
2. How We Use Information
- To respond to your free audit request, contact you on WhatsApp and suggest a suitable package.
- To provide, operate and improve our marketing and advertising services.
- To communicate with clients and prospects, including sending reports, invoices and service updates by email or WhatsApp.
- To analyze advertising performance and produce insights and reports for the respective client only.
- To measure conversation and enquiry outcomes on behalf of a client, and present those measurements to that client.
- To understand how visitors use our website and to measure and improve our own advertising on Meta.
- To comply with legal obligations.
3. Client Conversation Data — Our Commitments
Because this data belongs to our clients and to their customers, we hold ourselves to the following commitments:
- We never send messages to a client’s customers. Our access to client conversation data is read-only. We have no ability to reply to, contact or start a conversation with a client’s customer.
- We never use automated agents on client conversations. Any automated assistant we use runs only on our own WhatsApp Business number and cannot access client conversation data.
- Each client’s data is isolated. One client’s conversation data is never visible to, shared with or used for the benefit of another client.
- We never sell, rent or share this data with advertisers, data brokers or any unrelated third party.
- We collect only what the measurement requires. We do not download or store photos, videos, voice notes or other media files sent in client conversations; we record only that media was present.
- Connection is explicit and reversible. A client connects their WhatsApp Business account through Meta’s official onboarding flow, with their own consent, and may disconnect at any time. On disconnection we stop receiving new data, and we delete the stored conversation data on request.
- Retention is limited. Conversation message content is kept only as long as needed to produce the client’s reporting and is deleted afterwards. Aggregate measurements derived from it (such as an average response time) may be kept, as these contain no personal information.
4. Meta Platform Data
Where a client authorizes us to access their Meta assets (ad accounts, Pages, WhatsApp Business accounts), we access only the data necessary to deliver the agreed services. We work through partner access in the client’s Business Manager and never ask for passwords. We do not sell platform data, share it with unrelated third parties or use one client’s data for another client. Our use of data received from Meta complies with the Meta Platform Terms and applicable developer policies.
5. Data Sharing
We do not sell personal information. We share information only with:
- Service providers that support our operations, bound by confidentiality obligations — for example Formspree (free audit form), Meta (WhatsApp and, when enabled, the Meta Pixel), Google (Google Tag Manager, when enabled), our website host, and email and cloud storage providers.
- Authorities, where required by law.
6. Data Retention & Security
We keep information only as long as needed for the purposes described above, or as required by law. Free audit requests are kept while we are in contact with you and for a reasonable time afterwards for our records. Data is stored with access controls, encryption in transit and restricted internal access. Access to client conversation data is limited to the people who operate that client’s account.
You can control cookies through your browser settings, and you can manage how Meta uses data for ads in your Facebook or Instagram ad preferences.
7. Your Rights & Data Deletion
You may ask for access to, correction of or deletion of your personal information at any time.
To request deletion of your data — including free audit requests, messages sent to our WhatsApp number, conversation data collected through a client’s connected WhatsApp Business account, or data collected through our Meta integrations — email us at info@chamiladigital.com with the subject line “Data Deletion Request”, or message us on WhatsApp. We will confirm and complete verified requests within 30 days.
If you are a customer of one of our clients and want your conversation data removed, you may contact us directly at the address above, or contact that business, and we will act on the request.
8. Children’s Privacy
Our services are intended for businesses and are not directed to children under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date above shows the latest revision. Continued use of our website or services after changes means you accept the updated policy.
